Global Televised Music Competition

The finale of the international classical music competition in three age categories took place for the first time in the Mozart Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus. Young classical music stars from all over the world had prepared long and intensively to present their skills at the "Classicalia". 

Grammy-nominated conductor Alastair Willis and our chief conductor Laszlo Gyüker accompanied the Vienna Opera Ball Orchestra in two extremely demanding concerts. Both the gala performance of the 2022 prize winners and the presentations of the 2023 finalists before the top-class jury (Prof. Eszter Haffner, Prof. Jura Margolis, Greg Philliganes) were recorded by the US TV station PBS and will be broadcast in the fall of 2023.
